Along with every other producer/studio engineer in the world, there is always a longing for having your very own studio console with all of the gear tightly tucked inside as if it was made especially for you. But, reality once again takes over. I have been involved in the Professional music industry for more than 30 years and did some research only to find out that the music industry is going back to the basics: Good Clean Sound. Most of the studios are actually having multiple reel to reel machines/analog consoles and incorporating this with their DAW of choice – creating a perfect HYBRID Marriage. Big Analog consoles do in fact exist again and are available/reconditioned for the recording mixer/engineer to use.
Now, the part that most new studio owners don’t like is the price tag. My role as your Music Consultant is navigate you through this process.
